The Sun just exploded, leaving researchers shocked and awed, hurling huge chunks of itself out into space and what is more, it has all been caught on camera. The historic explosion was shared by Dr Ryan French on his X handle today and it showed a part of the Sun exploding and rising away from its surface and it seemingly had no end at all. It was an amazing, virtually never-seen-before event. The awesome part was that this shocking solar flare explosion was caught live!

Dr French explained, “The full evolution of today’s mesmerising #SolarFlare, which continued for over 12 hours! This is a very long duration event, as most flares are over well within an hour of onset. Just look at those flare loops grow!........
