SIMPLE STUFF: My friend, Tim Reynolds
There are some things that can still wow Tim Reynolds, who, for decades, has toured the world as the lead guitarist for the legendary Dave Matthews Band.
Like sharing a stage with musical icon Stevie Wonder. Or playing in London’s Royal Albert Hall. And his idolizing of the Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger.
I talked with Tim last week; this was the third time around for us in the past two years. He mostly feels like a friend now — kinda weird, but I’ll take it. This interview was part of my work for Nippertown, the arts blog for the Schenectady Gazette; I thought that DMB fans here might enjoy hearing part of it.
