Well, well, well. After hiring an independent auditor to spend weeks analyzing what any rational person already knew, Pinal County has determined that its primary election was both accurate and fraud free.

That’ll be $150,000, please.

Just as in 2020 and in 2022, sore losers are expensive.

Maybe you recall the story of Pinal County Supervisor Kevin Cavanaugh, who lost the Republican primary election for sheriff to county Sheriff’s Lt. Ross Teeple.

Voters broke 2-1 for Teeple.

Naturally, Cavanaugh’s response was to deny the results of the election and take the first steps toward suing the county.

In his notice of claim filed last month, Cavanaugh alleges the Republican county recorder and five other county election officials conspired to “modify the results” of his race.

He knows this because he and wife, along with some guy he found on the internet, conducted a “statistical analysis” and found a questionable pattern of results.
