This week, Arizona provided America with proof of the obscene level of tolerance we now have for gun violence.

Sometime after midnight on Monday, gunshots were fired into a Democratic Party campaign office in Tempe. Two shots went through the front door’s glass; two other bullet holes were in the door frame and stucco.

A week before, the same office was damaged by a pellet or BB gun.

That incident got zero attention.

I guess we’re willing to write off shots from a pellet gun or a BB gun as ordinary punk behavior.
