They tend to be from countries that don’t have a good exchange rate, and are authoritarian, overcrowded and politically unstable.

For complicated reasons like catering to the investor, immigrants’ housing prices were increased. There is scarcity and inflation.

Many have asylum cases to be made.

Many are escaping oppressive roles in arranged marriages.

Some have spouses connected to authoritarian governments and are trying to start new lives here.

Electricity isn’t guaranteed for 24 hours a day in their home countries. There is industrial pollution. Competition in universities is at mass numbers.
