Gorleston Football Club will display plans this week for its proposed new home at the Recreation Ground – its original headquarters for 93 years from 1889 to 1982.

The plans include an artificial 3G pitch, spectator stand, a clubhouse and grass pitches.

The club says the development “will support grassroots football, structured training and wider recreational use, providing a valuable community asset”.
