Fingers crossed, I should be back to accurate vision by the end of the month.
It seems an eternity since I had cataracts removed. Surgery was easy. I wouldn’t want anyone to be fearful or decide against this surgery. It was quick, painless and what a difference it has made.

The issues I have encountered were not because of the surgery. Many years ago, following gall bladder surgery, I was told, I had keloid skin. Back then we didn’t have all the technology to look it up like we do now, but apparently it’s something to do with the protein, collagen, that helps with the healing process. Too much and thick, ugly keloid scars form. Not sure if rapid healing or keloid caused such early development of scar tissue following my cataract surgery, but what the doctor said usually takes a year or two happened within a couple weeks in both eyes.
