Among the seven reservoirs, Modak Sagar remains the most filled with water, with 100 per cent storage capacity. While it holds 1,28,925 ML of water, Upper Vaitarna contains 89.32 per cent of water, with a stock of 2,02,796 ML.
Mumbai: In a good news for Mumbaikars, the total water stock in seven reservoirs supplying water in the city increased to 95.53 per cent at 6 am on Monday. The total water stock increased from 95.22 per cent on Sunday. As per the government data, seven lakes hold 13,82,624 million litres (ML) of water as against their total useful storage capacity of 14,47,363 ML.
