The Issue: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez not paying her student loans, despite her $173,000 salary.
Betsy McCaughey points out the outrageous fiscal prudence of likely ’28 Dem candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (“A Deadbeat Prez? AOC’s Loan Mess,” Aug. 19).
The cardinal rule for a candidate is to lead by example. In her case, it’s lead by defiance. This entitled individual believes she doesn’t live by the same rules as everyone else.
The responsible citizen would prioritize paying back the loans and encourage others to do the same — not TikToking about her costly fertility treatments.
