Parish joins the fray as anger mounts at Holkham Estate over caravan plans
Parish councillors at Holme, near Hunstanton have joined the fray over the rare amphibians, by issuing a damning response to a report which claims opening the White Horse Caravan Park for 11 months of the year will not damage nearby protected nature sites.
The council's 12-page objection says Natterjeck toads which breed on Park Piece, near the caravan site on Kirkgate, are not mentioned in a habitats assessment submitted by developer McDonnell Caravans.
