In Clifton Park, 80-year-old Rob Dickson is raising money for cancer care and research by riding his bike across New York state. The seven-day Empire State Ride that began Sunday with more than 250 riders covers 545 miles from Staten Island to Niagara Falls and raises money for the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo. This is the sixth time Dickson has participated in the ride, and so far he has raised $28,000 for the center.
