NEET’s switch from pen-and-paper to computer: damned if you do, damned if you don’t

Over 2.2 million students wrote NEET this year, hoping to get in on the roughly 120,000 vacant medical seats. 

The medical entrance exam is the largest test in the country, and naturally, the stakes run high. So does the security. GPS-tracked vehicles transport question papers to examination centres that are monitored through AI-assisted cameras. There are even 5G jammers deployed at the centres to block electronic communication. 

Nobody skimps on frisking, either.
