President Trump is set to deliver the commencement address at the Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday morning.

His speech comes as the Trump administration has faced scrutiny over the U.S. military operations in Iran and moves in the Caribbean and Latin America — including strikes against alleged drug boats, the capture of former Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.

The Coast Guard has been heavily involved in operations to seize tankers around the world accused of violating sanctions against Venezuela and Iran.
