Missing scientists: A timeline of cases
(NewsNation) — The FBI is reviewing cases of at least 10 scientists who have died or disappeared since 2022, most of whom had connections to government research.
The cases gained attention after the disappearance of retired Air Force general William McCasland, and fears they are connected have gained traction at the highest levels of government.
President Trump said he hopes the cases are a coincidence but also said relevant agencies are looking into things.

Amy Eskridge dies by suicide in Huntsville, Ala. Eskridge was a plasma physicist studying antigravity technology and had worked with NASA.
One of Eskridge’s friends said she told him that if she died by suicide, it would not be true and stated she was being targeted by a directed energy weapon. Her father, however, believes her death was a suicide.

Michael David Hicks, a researcher at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), died at the age of 59.
Hicks worked on major space projects, including NASA’s DART program, which was testing to see if it was possible to deflect an asteroid.
Hicks’ cause of death was not officially released to the public.
Frank Maiwald, another JPL researcher, died at the age of 61.
