Navy helicopter makes emergency landing in Arabian Sea, one crew missing

A Navy helicopter assigned to a U.S. aircraft carrier made an “emergency water landing” in the Arabian Sea on Wednesday morning and one of the four aircrewmen is missing, according to the U.S. military.

An MH-60S Seahawk, a twin engine helicopter that can be utilized for search and rescue, special operations, combat support and other efforts, made an emergency landing, but there is “no indication the emergency was caused by hostile action,” U.S. Naval Forces Central Command wrote on social media.
