Death in Paradise will be returning in just over a week’s time, and there is a new “sassy” recruit heading to Saint Marie.

Just some of the returning characters include DI Mervin Wilson (Don Gilet), Commissioner Selwyn Patterson (Don Warrington), Catherine Bordey (Elizabeth Bourgine), Detective Sergeant Naomi Thomas (Shantol Jackson) and Officer Sebastian Rose (Shaquille Ali-Yebuah).

However, joining the season 15 cast is Sergeant Mattie Fletcher, played by Catherine Garton.

Catherine revealed Mattie is “tenacious” and “really fun to play”.
