A man has died from serious injuries he sustained in a crash involving a lorry and another HGV near a busy industrial estate.

The case is the latest to be featured on series five of Crash Detectives, a BBC show focused on Gwent Police.

On July 4, 2022, 46-year-old Polish lorry driver Mariusz Korkosz collided with fellow HGV driver Gary Rees, 55, on the B4251, between Oakdale and Crumlin.

The scene of the crash was devastating, with multiple emergency services attending, including South Wales Fire and Rescue, the Welsh Ambulance Service, and the police.

Mr Rees, who was found unconscious, was cut from his vehicle and taken to hospital in Cardiff for further........
