Compounding health issues have kept legendary Bay Area sports radio host, and voice of the 49ers, Greg Papa from his long-awaited on-air comeback.

In a story published Tuesday, Papa told John Shea of the San Francisco Standard that a genetic heart condition had gotten worse following the bone marrow transplant he received for cancer treatment this spring.
