Samantha Milton had been charged with arson being reckless as to whether life was endangered following incidents at a building at Oxford Avenue, Gorleston, on May 4, 2024.

The 33-year-old has also been charged with another arson, at an address in Priory Plain, Great Yarmouth on February 8 this year.

Milton, formerly of Priory Plain, Yarmouth, but currently of HMP Peterborough, admitted both offences when she appeared at court on Monday.

The defendant, who appeared at Norwich Crown Court, sitting at the city's magistrates' court, also admitted common assault of a woman on February 8 this year, damaging property, and two offences of assaulting a police constable on February 8.

Rob Pollington, who appeared on behalf of Milton, said she would need a psychiatric report.

Recorder John Brooke-Smith adjourned the case until April 22.
