Reports of antisemitic chants at children's football game
According to the BBC, the chants emerged during a national under-15s cup quarter-final game at Thorpe St Andrew School, near Norwich, on Thursday.
The side was playing a team from JFS in Kenton, north London.
JFS was founded in 1732 as the Jews' Free School and, at one time, was one of the largest Jewish schools in the world.
A spokesperson for Thorpe St Andrew School said they were "deeply concerned to hear about the comments reported".
They said these comments run "counter to the culture and values" of the school, which is taking it "extremely seriously" and has launched a full investigation.
It is understood that the next day, Norfolk police received a report of a suspected hate crime in which antisemitic chants were heard coming from spectators.
The English Schools' Football Association - which runs the Boys Under-15 Schools' Cup - is also said to be investigating.
JFS has been contacted for comment.
