Almost 450 Norfolk homes get heating oil crisis grants... while 200 more are refused
Norfolk County Council launched the £3m heating oil crisis fund, to help low-income families struggling to cope with costs as the war in the Middle East sent costs soaring.
About 70,000 households in the county - 17pc of homes - rely on the fuel for heating and hot water.
But the US-Israeli conflict with Iran meant heating oil prices doubled, leaving some in Norfolk struggling to pay for their supplies.
