Parish councillors in Taverham want hire company Beryl, the company which operates Norwich's hire e-scooter and bike scheme, to start providing the transport in the village.

The trial, which started in Norwich in 2020, was extended by Norfolk County Council until May 2028 earlier this year.

It has already gone outside of the city's boundaries and into areas such as Hethersett and Wymondham.
