Aero India 2025: Meat sale in Bengaluru continues despite ban by BBMC

Bengaluru: The city is in full swing as preparations continue for the Aero India 2025, which is scheduled to take place at Yelahanka from February 10 to 14. The countdown has begun for this biennial international air show, and residents of the city are eager to witness the colourful displays by the aircraft.

However, the sale of meat in areas around Yelahanka has raised concerns, as it increases bird activity, which could pose problems for the flight of fighter jets during the air show. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has issued an order prohibiting meat sales within a 13 km radius of the Air Force Station for a duration of 26 days.
