UP teacher shot dead inside school in front of children; accused kills himself

New Delhi: A 26-year-old woman teacher was shot dead inside a school in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri on Monday, leaving students and staff in panic. Police said the man accused of shooting her later killed himself.

The victim was identified as Nishat Fatima, a resident of Hidayat Nagar in the Sadar Kotwali area. The accused was identified as 28-year-old Mohammed Saud.
