Cold wave set to tighten grip on Friday, snowfall expected across Jammu and Kashmir
New Delhi: A biting cold wave continues to sweep across large parts of northern and central India with no immediate relief in sight. Weather experts say the harsh winter conditions are likely to persist for the next two days before temperatures begin to show a gradual rise.
The founder of Mausam Tak and a regular weather commentator for Kisan Tak, Devendra Tripathi said the cold is set to deepen across several regions. According to him, states such as Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha.
