Amazon India sellers exceed 20 lakh; to generate 1.6 lakh festive season jobs in 400 cities

Amazon India has reached a milestone by achieving a seller base of 20 lakh. According to the company, this represents the fastest annual growth in the last three years. The number of sellers has jumped, thanks to tailwinds such as zero referral fees on products priced under Rs 1,000 and the increasing use of AI tools. Ahead of the festive season, the company has also created over 160,000 seasonal job opportunities across the country.
