RSS wants to impose its truth on 1.5 billion Indians: Rahul Gandhi attack Sangh over its ideology

Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi accused the RSS of trying to impose its version of truth on Indians. He said each person must have the freedom to discover their own truth. Gandhi also contrasted the RSS worldview with Mahatma Gandhi’s idea of Swaraj.

New Delhi: Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh of trying to impose its understanding of truth on people across India. Speaking at the “Hara Bhara Swaraj: A Tribute to Rajiv Gandhi’s Vision” programme in New Delhi, the Congress MP said India’s ideological conflict involved questions of personal freedom, identity and truth.
