Bangladesh: Retired Hindu teacher, wife and two children found dead in locked home

A retired schoolteacher, his wife and their two children were found dead inside their locked house in Bangladesh’s Rangpur city. Police suspect the four family members were strangled. Several investigation teams have started a joint inquiry, while officials await the autopsy reports to confirm the cause of death.

New Delhi: A retired school teacher, his wife, daughter and 12-year-old son were found dead inside their locked home in Bangladesh’s Rangpur city late Saturday night, police said. The victims were identified as retired Rangpur Zilla School teacher Ganapati Chakraborty, 65, his wife Pritilata Chakraborty, 50, daughter Agami Chakraborty Prarthi, 23, and son Priyam Chakraborty, 12.

Police recovered the bodies at around 11.30 pm, according to Nazmul Kader, officer-in-charge of the Rangpur Metropolitan Kotwali Police........
