‘I might get a divorce’: Ashish Nehra opens up on becoming India head coach in future

Former India pacer Ashish Nehra recently opened up on the chances of becoming India's new head coach. Nehra currently serves as the head coach of the Gujarat Titans in the IPL.

New Delhi: Former India pacer Ashish Nehra joked he might have to get permission from his wife, or their marriage might end in a divorce if he were to become the head coach of the Indian team. Nehra didn’t rule out the possibility but insisted the job of a national head coach is tougher and more demanding compared to coaching a team in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Nehra is currently serving as the head coach of the Gujarat Titans in the IPL and is regarded by many as one of the wisest cricketing brains.
