Adobe named Anil Chakravarthy as its next president and CEO earlier this month, tapping a six-year company veteran to lead the software maker through intensifying competition from AI rivals. Chakravarthy takes over on December 1 and will join Adobe’s board of directors, succeeding Shantanu Narayen, who first announced back in March that he would step down after leading the company for nearly two decades.
