As Bill Gates prepares to testify before Congress, his $86 billion foundation has launched an external review into its own Epstein connections—while simultaneously cutting hundreds of jobs.

Amid a sweeping job restructuring, the philanthropic giant is also contending with an external review into its ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

“This is a challenging time for our organization in many ways, but it also highlights the critical importance of taking the tough actions now,” Gates Foundation CEO Mark Suzman reportedly said in the memo.
