Trump Says You're The Enemy If You Don't Use His New Preferred Term

So far, the president’s name change demand has been greeted with the same antipathy that accompanied his decisions to rebrand Lake Ontario as “Lake America,” and the Gulf of Mexico as the “Gulf of America.”

If you are one of the millions of people who use terms like artificial intelligence or AI, Donald Trump has a harsh message for you: You’re the enemy.

The president took to his Truth Social platform on Thursday to demand that people stop calling AI AI, and instead use his preferred term, “Super Intelligence.”

Trump announced the name change late last month while addressing the United Nations.

He justified the name change no one was asking for by claiming “super” was “much more accurate” than “artificial.”
