As if Kashmir’s natural wealth wasn’t being looted for decades with enough pace that a new assault was launched at another site – rivers and nallahs.

For decades we have been complaining of depleting forest cover, shrinking water bodes, and receding glaciers. One by one we are losing the natural covers provided to our valley, but nothing substantial is done to stop this vandalisation and environmental degradation. On top of it, we are accelerating all the activities that have over the years........
