The premises, on Bungay's St Mary's Street, was previously occupied by the Original Factory Shop, which went into administration in January.

The site is now up for sale for offers in excess of £325,000.

The store closed on Saturday, March 28.

The site has planning permission for the demolition of the existing property to build a retail unit and seven homes (Image: Google Maps)

The property, which spans 8,304 square feet, includes retail space, storage areas, and staff facilities on the ground and first floors.

Planning permission has already been granted to demolish the building and put seven homes, alongside a replacement shop, in its place.

The approved scheme includes two flats, five cottages, and a new retail until on the current footprint.

Bungay Town Council previously objected to the plans, raising concerns about parking provision, the potential loss of employment, and overdevelopment.

However, East Suffolk Council approved the plans shortly after the store began its closing-down sale.
