Plans for five new shepherd huts in village given final approval
It means the shepherd huts in Huntingfield, near Halesworth, can be rented out as holiday lets.
Thomas and Chelsea Wray, who own Suffolk Hutmakers Ltd, won planning permission from East Suffolk Council for five movable shepherd huts off Linstead Road last year, but were given strict conditions to provide various documents for council approval before they can be rented out.
Conditions included submitted lighting plans, service requirements, and a method statement for dealing with reptiles.

The final documents have now been signed off by council officials, which means development can begin on the new holiday homes site.
The original planning statement said the site is designed to attract "quiet couples looking to visit the Suffolk countryside and enjoy a relaxing break".

The huts are set to be used as holiday lets to create "small-scale, low-key, low-impact tourist accommodation, at one with nature" at the rural site.
Locals had submitted 11 objections to the original bid, which included concerns about wildlife, traffic, and wastewater.
Alongside the five huts, five carparking spaces and six cycle spots will also be created.
