Petrol station wins permission to change opening hours
Central Co-op sought permission from East Suffolk Council to vary the opening times of its petrol station in Bungay off the B1062 Hillside Road.
The garage was formerly only able to open at 7am to 11pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 5pm on Sunday.
Now the filling station has won permission to open an hour earlier at 6am Monday to Friday, and stay open two hours later on Sunday, closing at 7pm instead.

In the application Central Co-op had said: "We wish the condition in question relating to trading hours on set days to be varied.
"This is the preference to meet current market and customer demands, and to link in with licencing requirements."
The petrol station will not change its Saturday opening hours of 7am to 9pm.
This means locals will have an extra seven hours a week to fill up their vehicles.
Alongside offering fuel and car washing facilities, the premises also has a defibrillator and a cash machine.
Central Co-op also has stores in Halesworth and Loddon.
