Toft Monks, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, is set to gain two Vehicle Activated Speed Signs after the community came together to raise more than £14,000 for them.

The signs will be located at either end of the 40mph limit on the A143.

Mark Hurrell, chairman of Toft Monks Parish Council, said: "Hopefully this is just the start of making the roads in and around our village safer going forward."
