Beccles Tile and Bathroom Centre celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special open day and charity raffle, bringing together companies from across the town to donate prizes in support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Thanks to a month-long fundraising effort, the business raised an impressive £1,048.56 for the charity, which relies on public donations to keep its helicopters and critical care teams operational.

Company director Sharon Thurston-Woods said: "We chose this charity after hearing how it is solely funded by donations, and it's a service that everyone wants to be available should they ever need it.

"We were well supported by a large number of local businesses who donated generous prizes for the raffle."

The fundraising coincided with the first anniversary of Beccles Tile and Bathroom Centre's new showroom on George Westwood Way.

Located next to the company's warehouse and trade centre, the modern showroom is larger, brighter, and a significant upgrade from the previous site on Gosford Road, where the business traded for nearly 40 years.
