Plans have been submitted to East Suffolk Council by Loungers UK to open Pascolo Lounge in the former Lloyds Bank building on Exchange Square in Beccles.

Loungers, which operates more than 300 venues nationwide under its Lounge and Cosy Club brands, has outlined proposals to convert the Grade II listed building while preserving its character.

The company says it intends to invest around £1 million in the project and create approximately 30 jobs, ranging from management positions to front-of-house and kitchen roles.
