Expansion scheme for GP surgery takes step forward
Cutlers Hill Surgery, of Bungay Road, Halesworth had won permission from East Suffolk Council to develop five new clinical rooms, clean and dirty utility rooms, and an accessible toilet in August last year.
While the application was approved, several conditions were placed on the bid, and development cannot begin until they have been discharged.

Cutlers Hill Surgery has now sent off a roofing materials report, a cycle storage plan, and proposed tree planting documents.
Once the council approves the documents construction can begin on the medical centre's new layout.

Documents submitted as part of the original application said: "The extension adopts a straightforward and functional design with a pitched roof that matches the existing building.
"A link corridor with a flat roof connects the two structures. It will be red brick with roof tiles to make the existing."
A yew tree will be removed to accommodate the extension, but updated plans reveal three small fruit trees will be planted across the site to offset the loss.
