One of the objections to the Barnby bid includes one local citing a recent crash as evidence of ongoing road safety concerns.

Flagship Homes is seeking permission from East Suffolk Council to build 50 homes on land off The Street in Barnby, between Beccles and Lowestoft.

The application has already attracted significant opposition, with a pre-application consultation recording 73 objections and just seven expressions of support.
