Kiri Mahadevan, joint owner of Tipsy Grill, said: "I always felt we have these bars in London and it is more of a restaurant for family gatherings.
"We went for this bar kind of idea, thought we would try at this and give back to the locals.
"We want it to be a family-oriented place with nice music for people to come and chill."

The restaurant plans to serve grilled chicken, pizza, pasta and smash burgers.
It will also serve some Sri Lankan starters including fish cutlet and steak rolls to honour the two owners' Sri Lankan heritage.
Its bar will serve cocktails and offer a variety of beers.

Mr Mahadevan added: "We have a fully equipped kitchen and gone for a nice modern look with a full bar and high-end drinks.
"We are going to do chef specials days and might have a Sri Lankan day and Jamaican day for different types of food."
Its owners acquired the premises at 138c High Street in Gorleston, located next to the Iceland supermarket, in August 2024 and they have been working on bringing new flavours to the town ever since.

They initially applied for planning permission to create a new food court style operation but were refused.
Afterwards, they re-shaped their plans and got planning approval for its bar and grill restaurant.

It is waiting for planning approval to install an extractor fan prior to opening, and also intends to offer takeaways at the restaurant later down the line.
The restaurant will announce its official opening day on its Facebook page when everything is in place.
