The Kings Head, on Norwich Street in Dereham, has been empty since closing down in February 2025.

The venue initially went up for sale for £450,000, but was taken off the market and its future became unclear.

It went under the hammer at a live auction on October 21 and was eventually sold for £238,000.

A spokesman for Auction House East Anglia confirmed that the buyer was "a local Norfolk-based investor".
