New crossing to open more than FIVE months after works were completed
Works to install the "much needed" crossing near a popular nature reserve on a stretch of busy A-road in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft had started last September, following a six-year campaign.
But despite five weeks of work being completed last year the toucan crossing and shared cycle track on the A146 Beccles Road - near to the Carlton Marshes nature reserve and visitor centre on Burnt Hill Lane - had yet to open.
