A home on Spashett Road was targeted as an "unknown person" forced opened the door of a garage to gain access.

A police spokesman said: "Tools and equipment were stolen at sometime between midnight and 10am on Saturday, March 7.

Burglars attempted to open doors to a vehicle on a driveway as they aimed to access a garage at a home on Rowntree Close in Lowestoft.

It happened between 1am and 1.30am on Saturday, March 7 although no entry was gained.
