BT Group PLC has submitted an application to North Norfolk District Council seeking permission to take out the existing phone box in Station Road, Sheringham, and replace it with a "global street hub".

The proposed hub, to be installed on the footpath section currently occupied by the BT kiosk, would feature illuminated advertising screens on both sides.
