Breckland Council's planning committee met on Tuesday to consider a bid to turn Otterwood Kennels, a small plot on Dereham Road, near Saham Toney, into a permanent spot for 12 traveller families.

Lisa Jay, who has lived at the land with her son for more than 15 years, had previously brought up to 23 caravans onto the plot intending for family members to join her.

The council issued an enforcement notice last year........
