The Original Factory Shop chain plunged into administration at the end of January, with Interpath Advisory being appointed to oversee the business.

A closing-down sale was launched across the board, with discounts of between 30pc and 60pc being offered on all products, including clothing, gardening and electrical.

These sales were later upped to 80pc in some stores.

All of the shops across Norfolk previously revealed their closing dates in March and April.

The Attleborough branch then announced it plans to close two days earlier than expected on Friday, March 27.

Now, the stores in Cromer, Gorleston and Bungay have said they will follow suit and also close a day earlier than planned on Saturday, March 28.

Despite this, the branch in Snettisham is currently still expected to close on Sunday and the branches in Stalham and Wymondham will both close on April 4.

Upon announcing the original closing date, the team at the Cromer store shared a statement which said: "Unfortunately we have some sad news to share with you all.

"We have been given a closing date for Sunday, March 29.

"Unfortunately, not the outcome we would have hoped for, but we can only deal with what we have.

"Please do pop in and see us whilst also grabbing some amazing bargains.

"We would really like to stress, though, please be kind to my team. This is some unfortunate and very sad news, so we are still processing this too."
