Babak Ahmadi, the owner of Piccolos on Prince of Wales Road, says the mixer, which Norwich City Council prohibited the business from using, has been in the same condition for 18 years.

After an inspection in late July, the council told the business its dough mixer could not be used until suitable guarding, which is used as a safety barrier, was installed on it.

But Mr Ahmadi argues the mixer has been in the same condition for years and "no concerns" have been raised........
