Gavin Campbell was pulled from the river near the train station shortly after midnight and was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he later died.

An inquest into Mr Campbell's death opened today where it was recorded that he died from drowning on May 31, with alcohol intoxication listed as a contributing condition.

Norfolk Coroner's Court heard that his body was identified by one of his friends.
